Best Practice to add an empty line in xhtml

Just use <⁄br>
Not the followings:

• <⁄br><⁄br> ……will create 2 lines instead of one empty line if that’s what you one.
• <⁄br> <⁄br>…..should not have an empty space in between
• <⁄BR>………….Never use upper cases in xhtml (or you will get element “BR” undefined error)
• Never use upper cases in xhtml
